He guided us through every step of the process with patience and understanding, ensuring that all arrangements were handled smoothly and respectfully. He listened carefully to our wishes and made sure that every aspect of the funeral was carried out to the highest standard. The staff were not only highly professional but also genuinely compassionate, making a difficult time much more bearable, keeping us updated on what was happening and talking us through each step including visiting the chapel of rest. On the day of the funeral, everything was impeccably organised. All involved were outstanding, ensuring that the service ran seamlessly. Karen at A A Walters was outstanding in the service and support she gave us in arranging my mothers funeral, Joan Gough. I cannot thank her enough, from the first phone call through to the support on the day of the funeral. Also the rest of the staff on the day, were first class. The nursing home were given A&A Walters as funeral directors. They came early hours to collect our relative. All communication was given with dignity and empathy. We changed a few things along the way and all the staff were so compassionate about doing everything correctly, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend these directors who will cater for all needs.

I would highly recommend A & A Walters Funeral Directors. They were excellent throughout the whole process. Stacy was both informative and supportive through the planning and no request or question was too big or too small. There was attention to detail and was also transparent when it came to costs. Our father was well looked after and the arrangements for viewing in the chapel of rest were done sensitively and respectfully. On the day of the funeral, everything was organised and carried out to the highest standard and funeral conductor, drivers and pallbearers were all amazing.

We contacted A&A Walter’s following the sudden passing of my father in law Laurence Hiscox. A&A Walter’s had been used by our families previously and once again they did not disappoint. Our Funeral Arranger Karen Newey was absolutely brilliant, her compassion and guidance made organising the funeral very simple and the care and respect shown by the staff on the day of the funeral was second to none. We would also like to thank Rachel Hodges for her help and support in making the process of arranging a Golden Charter prepaid funeral plan so easy. We shall always be grateful to A&A Walter’s for the fantastic service and care provided such a difficult time for our family.

A & A Walters were In tune with us and our needs for not only moms funeral five years ago during covid but more recently our Dads funeral George Jones. Sam at the Bilston branch was there as a great support noting was too much trouble. Her kindness was knowledge is excellent . A&A Walters was recommended to us, by two different people, following my fathers passing. On the first contact, I was given step by step advice on what I needed to do. Once we had received documents we contacted A&A Walters and we were looked after by Steven. Steven was really welcoming, sympathetic and kind, he listened to our wishes and helped plan everything for us. He took care of news paper announcements, flowers, order of service printing and offered lots of support and advice. He explained everything in simple terms, which was just what we needed in our moment of grief. Steven remained in contact with me throughout which helped to put my mind at rest. The smallest details were taken care of and we felt very well looked after. On the day of my fathers funeral, all of the staff members were impeccably dressed, the vehicles looked amazing and everyone was supportive and respectful. The flowers were stunning. I cannot fault the service we received. i wouldn't hesitate to recommend A&A Walters to others.

I've known of A & A Walters for over 9yrs as they dealt with my dads funeral arrangements and this yr they also dealt with my moms. They are a very sincere family feel vibe company and nothing is too much trouble for them. They were a lifeline for me at the most difficult time of my life. We have always received exceptional service at A & A Walters in the past, so when we recently lost my Mum, Carol, we didn't hesitate to choose A & A Walters again. Alexis and the team were wonderful from the moment we first contacted them. At such a heartbreaking time they were understanding, sympathetic and nothing was too much trouble. They helped us arrange the most beautiful service, supporting us with everything from absolutely beautiful flowers, a wicker casket, music selection, visual tribute, orders of service and in particular, organising the celebrant we wanted to do the service. Alexis checked every detail and kept me regularly informed of everything. The funeral went as well as a funeral can and I felt relieved to have such a lovely, independent, family business taking care of us. I even popped in one day to drop something off and a member of the team gave my young children a beautiful memory book to fill in to remember their precious Nanny. I thought this was such a lovely touch. They were respectful to my Mum and treated us all with care, sympathy and compassion throughout. What an excellent service we had from A&A Walters Bilston branch. A very special thanks to Sam she was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We were kept informed every step of the way and she supported us all the way through and sorted everything out perfectly from the meeting we had with her regarding my Dad David Hume. We will be forever grateful for the service and support we received. They were extremely professional throughout but also very understanding and supportive. I cannot recommend this company enough.

We went to A&A Walters for the funeral of our loved one. From the very start we were welcomed and treated with the utmost respect and kindness which helped us process the plans much better and helped to ease our worries. Everyone at the company were very knowledgeable and caring and acted with outstanding professionalism. Our first point of call was Sam at the bilston office and she was amazing with how she went above and beyond with helping us no matter how much time was needed or how many times things needed explaining. Also Tony and Gary from the Tipton office were amazing with there driving and compassion they showed towards us and with the preparation of the body, we have been really touched by the help, professionalism, and the kind nature of all involved and we can’t thank you enough for making such a difficult time a little easier and less of a worry. Sam and all the team were so considerate and friendly at every stage following my mom's death. My mom had thoughtfully pre arranged her funeral but Walter's arranged for the beautiful flowers and also for our family overseas to be able to view the service live or in their own time. As my mom was cremated they took the flowers to the dining venue so that people could take a few home in memory. I would recommend them with no hesitation.

I can't recommend A&A Walters enough. They have helped my family in organising the funerals of my Grandmother, my Mother and recently my Father. Everyone I spoke to was kind, compassionate and understanding. Andy at Sedgley was my main contact. He made everything easy as possible and everything was perfect. I spoke to the staff at Tipton on the phone and they were helpful also. All of the funerals they have done for us have been the best send offs for our loved ones. When looking for a local funeral director, I was impressed by the testimonials left for service received from A&A Walters. This was also my experience; Andy Matthews in the Sedgley branch is extremely personable (as was Stephanie when Andy was away) and, right from my phone call on the day I received the terrible news, helped with advice and details at all stages of coping with the experience of bereavement. The firm offered all the options needed for the service we wanted and Mum herself was looked after with great respect. On the day of the service the A&A Walters pallbearers transporting the coffin were very professional and helped make sure everything went to plan, friends and relatives knew where to go etc. Organisation of the service itself, music and programme went extremely well. I was happy to have made the right choice to ensure that Mum's passing was marked the way we wanted.

We sadly required the services of A&A Walters twice in one year, during our very sad situations we experienced professionalism, respect and when appropriate a little light heartedness. I would thoroughly recommend A&A Walters. Andy was informative and always available for any queries we may have had and never reproached us for asking things twice. At a really devastating time in my life having lost my Dad A&A Walters were just amazing. As my Dad was home at his passing they showed care when collecting him for the Chapel of Rest. We went to the Sedgley branch to arrange the funeral where Andy was so lovely and understanding. The funeral went off with no problems, care and support to the family and ensured everyone was ok. They are honest as we had overpaid and received a cheque back for £500. I honestly can't recommend them enough .

My husband's family have used this local family owned firm of funeral directors for generations, and when my husband and I used them for his father's funeral in 1970 I was very impressed with the genuine sympathy extended to us by all the staff and the standard of personal service offered. I later persuaded my mother to use them for my father's funeral in 1987 (our family only moved into the area after the War) and she was equally impressed and loved the 'old fashioned' attention to detail. We have since used them for our baby grand-daughters' funerals, my mother-in-law and in 2020 my mother's funeral (Anne Baskerville). Sadly, my beloved husband died at home in January this year and I had no hesitation in contacting A.A. Walters. It was very late at night but they answered the call immediately and were at my home within 2 hours. Alexis took care of all the arrangements this time and nothing was too much trouble - she added photos into the Order of Service as I found them, and the booklet she produced was beautiful and admired by everyone, a lovely memory of him. They take care of every detail and are ready to offer solutions if any difficulty is encountered. The staff are there whenever we need to speak to them. All costs are made clear from the start and I have always found them excellent value - they provide premium service without a premium price, and their long family tradition in the business shows at what is a very stressful time.

I highly recommend A & A Walters, after the sad passing of my beloved Father - Thomas Oloruntola .We were understandably overwhelmed as a Family .We wanted to organise his funeral within 2 weeks of his passing -which was my dearest Dad wish . The Funeral directors which we wanted to go with initially told us outrightly that they were unable to conduct the Funeral within that time frame ( as there were 2 bank holidays within that 2 weeks ) and they told us rather unhelpfully that we will struggle to get any Funeral directors to help us because of the time pressure. We found A & A walters after searching online and from the first phone call with the team they swung to action immediately, they helped us secure the chapel for the funeral service at the cemetery at an appropriate time even before the first meeting which I must say was very impressive . When we met Karen Newey ( Funeral Arranger) she was very patient with us and explained to us what to expect and the process involved .She supported /encouraged as we visited my Dad at the chapel of rest ,it gave us another opportunity to say our goodbyes privately to my dearest Dad. In terms of affordability ,we found they were reasonably priced . On the day of the Funeral ,Dave our conductor was amazing with his level of professionalism ,he was so so patient ,made sure the funeral service went smoothly ,my Dad was well looked after by the team with so much dignity and Care. Thank you all for making a very difficult time for my family easier because of the high level of professionalism by the team .

A & A Walter’s have been marvellous in all aspects of looking after my late Mum Lynn Vickers. I was recommended to them by a family friend who used their services previously and I was not disappointed. It was a good choice for such a hard decision to make in life, when you are very emotional and in need of guidance. I felt their approach was caring and understanding, whilst listening to my needs and helping me navigate my mum’s funeral. Steph especially as she was my main go to while I was trying to make funeral arrangements, but the whole team were very professional and approachable. The professionalism and attention to detail from everyone at Walters throughout all our dealings with them post the death of our Little Sis, Wanda, was brilliant. It was apparent from very early on that the company, and specifically Steven, knew what we wanted, understood the person our sister was and delivered aligned to this. The small touches that they included such as changing their Neck Ties, sourcing colours and adornments and always being contactable was above our expectations. This was dues to the attentive nature and understanding of Steven. His colleagues Anthony and Dave were so respectful and tender in dealing with our Little Sis from the moment they picked her up right through to the funeral. Andy at Sedgley branch was professional, kind, compassionate and so helpful when arranging my father's funeral 12th Aug 24. He guided us through the whole process and made us feel at ease, at a very difficult time. Everything about the funeral and service was wonderful, the gentlemen that supported us on the day were impeccable. Celebrant Rebecca Clee was fantastic and delivered such a personal and touching service, such a fitting tribute to my dad John Marsh. Would definitely recommend A & A Walters, absolute 5 star service.

From the first phone call to A & A Walters right through to the funeral they all showed the most utter respect for my late mom, Hilda (Helga) Beach, Steph felt more like we where discussing a family member to her not someone she had never met, we could not have asked for anyone better. Phone calls we had with Steph and David always keeping us upto date and finally letting me know mom was ready and had her glasses on meant so much to me, the respect on the day showed to mom was amazing and touched us all especially her great grand daughter, Isla,you are all a credit to A & A Walters. Excellent service at a very difficult time. We used A&A Walters following the passing of our dear mum, Janet Webb. We can not fault A&A Walters, from start to finish we were treated with sensitivity and respect. Steph was a funeral arranger. She was exceptional! She helped and guided us through every step. She went above and beyond to help with some family issues. She smoothed the way In a very professional manner. She offered her help In every way she could, including the fantastic suggestion of Helen Emery (Officiant). Our mum was well cared for and looked amazing to make her final journey. From the moment I first made contact with them until today, the day after my Uncles funeral, Phil Etheridge has been lovely. No question was deemed silly. Every question we had, was answered in a sensitive manner and we just felt at ease in the funeral home. The actual funeral was faultless and worth every penny we spent. After the absolutely brilliant and respectful funeral by AA Walters for my Dad it was a no brainer to go back to them when we lost our Mom Dorothy Ruth Jackson in November 2024. Within a few minutes of the first call to them they came and took care of Mom and helped us cope in those difficult first few days. Karen Newey from Walters then did everything we needed and requested and more. She made life much easier for us with help, advice and respect when we really needed it. On the day of Mom's funeral the team were absolutely brilliant too making the sad day as easy as possible for us. I very, very, very highly recommend them.
