Chapels of Rest
Our large Chapels of Rest are beautiful airy rooms where family members can pay their last respects. Each of our chapels have been sympathetically decorated in warm colours and have specially commissioned stained glass windows. Should you prefer not to have the cross displayed then please ask and it shall be removed.
Coffin selection room
We have a range of veneered, solid wood and bespoke coffins available for inspection.
Family meeting room
For small gatherings (up to 10 people) we are able to offer a private room either for families to meet before or following the funeral service. We are able to provide buffets for such gatherings. Please ask for details.
Private wash room
At A & A Walters we are highly respectful of religious customs and so are able to provide a private cleansing room for families to undertake ritual cleaning and preparation of their loved one if so desired.
Full hygenic treatment
Hygienic treatment is an additional service that aids the preservation of the body from the time that the body comes into the care of the funeral director until the time of committal. It is recommended should you wish to view your loved one in the Chapel of Rest.
Repatriation
Our experienced staff are able to support you by completing all necessary paperwork and transportation to ensure the safe and dignified transfer of a person from one country to another. This may be necessary following a death abroad or where a family wish to have the funeral service in a different country.
Personalised service sheets
Whatever your requirements we are able to design an order of service to your exacting specification. Whether you prefer twenty copies of a simple folded sheet in black and white or four-hundred copies on card incorporating full colour with inserts, we can help.
Newspaper notices
We are happy to help you write obituary notices and submit them to the local or national press on your behalf.
Commemorative keepsakes
We have a wide selection of keepsakes ranging from miniature wooden caskets to porcelain vases, from pillows to bespoke jewellery. Please ask for details.
Caskets & Urns
We have a wide selection of caskets and urns in materials ranging from paper mache, wood, porcelain and bronze. Many are available in large and 'keepsake' sizes, colours and designs to suit all tastes. Prices start from as little as £35.

What is a 'Moving Tribute'?
A Moving Tribute can combine photographs, sound and digital home movie clips and set them to music of your choice. Whatever option you choose we can produce a fitting and lasting tribute to your loved one's memory. We offer a range of all inclusive packages to suit most requirements, but because we produce all the Moving Tributes ourselves, we are always happy to provide a bespoke service should you require something a little different.
HD TV and Video Sharing
We have a dedicated 63" HD Samsung TV and high level stand available to hire for local venues for a small additional fee (Standard hire rate ~ £90.00.) This includes transportation and operation of equipment (subject to terms and conditions.) Our presentations can be played in churches, crematoria and wake venues. Depending on the package you can opt to have a personalised DVD to keep or allow friends and family to access your Moving Tribute via our password protected video sharing platform.
Previously purchased a 'Movie Tribute'?
Families that have previously had a Moving Tribute made for them will be entitled to free hosting and sharing of their tribute (Gold Package features) for a period of 12 months. Please contact jhodges@waltersfunerals.co.uk to activate this.

Moving Tribute is a division of A & A Walters Ltd. Each tribute is produced by Jeremy Hodges, one of its Directors. Jeremy has a wealth of experience in video production and uses commercial, industry leading production software to design unique and lasting tributes.
